The Alexandria Beetles (2-3) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 8-3 to the Duluth Huskies (3-2) on Sunday.

While the Alexandria Beetles led until the seventh inning, the Duluth Huskies worked their way back and took the lead on a sacrifice fly by Brian Hansen.

Max Duval racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Duluth Huskies. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Despite the loss, the Alexandria Beetles' Nick Berhel dominated the Duluth Huskies' batters, giving up one run and striking out five.

Austin Perez recorded his first win of the year for the Duluth Huskies. He allowed three runs over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Scott Sanderson was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
