The Mankato MoonDogs (39-21) beat the Thunder Bay Border Cats (29-31) 3-1 but needed 10 innings to do so on Wednesday at Subway Field.

With the Mankato MoonDogs trailing by one, Alex Wise came to the plate and singled, bringing home David Andriese.

Wise pushed the Mankato MoonDogs ahead, in the seventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out.

Adam Mott picked up the win for the Mankato MoonDogs. Mott pitched nine innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and three walks while striking out one.

Jerrick Suiter (0-1) took the loss for the Thunder Bay Border Cats. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
