A great effort by Jimmy Bosco lifted the La Crosse Loggers (45-20) to a 17-2 win over the Wisconsin Woodchucks (42-23) on Tuesday at Copeland Park.
Bosco rocked the Wisconsin Woodchucks with two home runs. Bosco went 3-5 in the game with four RBIs and four runs scored. Bosco homered in the fourth and eighth innings.
The biggest inning for the La Crosse Loggers was the fourth. In the inning the La Crosse Loggers scored nine runs.
Josh Frye picked up the win for the La Crosse Loggers. Frye pitched eight innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out three.
Austin Pettibone (3-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out none.
