Daniel Hersey - Profile

A native of Key West, Florida, Coach Hersey is returning in 2012 in an expanded role.  A pitching coach with the Huskies in 2006, Coach Hersey returned to Duluth in 2010 as Field Manager and has led the Huskies onto the field each day since.  Coach played his collegiate baseball at Rollins College and the University of West Georgia before turning is attention to coaching where he worked as Assistant Head Coach and Pitching Coach at Saint Leo University and College of Central Florida.  Coach Hersey has also served as an assistant coach for the Zephyrhills Snappers in the Florida Collegiate Summer League and as Field Manager for the Wilmington Sharks of the Coastal Plains League.  Coach Hersey is married to his wife, Catherine, and resides in Duluth.
