The slugging first baseman returns to Rochester for another season with the Honkers. For his performance in leading the Shockers to a 5-0 start, Coy was named the Louisville Slugger Player of the Week by Collegiate Baseball after going 15 for 25 with 8 runs, 3 doubles, 2 home runs, and 20 RBIs in just a 5-game span. Last summer, Coy led the Honkers in batting average (.309), hits (60), homeruns (11), and RBIs (48) while also putting together a solid defensive season with a .985 fielding percentage. Coy is a two-time MLB amateur draftee, picked by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 7th round of the 2008 draft, and picked in the 45th round by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2010.
