Versatility makes any baseball team better, and Corey Jones should bring just that to Rochester this summer. Corey will be seeing his first action of 2009 when he debuts with the Honkers this summer, as he sat out the this season at Fullerton with injury. Last season he hit .302 in 49 games for the Titans and drove in 33 runs while stealing 4 bases. He should see time mostly at second base for Rochester, but is capable of playing just about anywhere in the infield a need could arise. Corey will be one of seven Californians on the roster this summer, and will be joined by two Titan teammates, pitcher Ryan Ackland and first baseman and pitcher Nick Ramirez.
