Dan, a former Homer High School pitcher, returns to the Bombers for the 2009 season. He had to sit out his freshman season at Evansville to recover from Tommy John Surgery. Dan used his time with the Bombers last season to regain his pitching form. He had 12 NWL starts for a total of 65 innings and recorded three wins. C.O. Brown Stadium has been good to Dan in the past as he has pitched some of his best games here. He was voted Michigan’s Co-Mr. Baseball as a senior at Homer High School in 2006 when he posted a 15-0 record and 5 no-hitters. Dan’s family has moved to Alpena, Michigan but Homer still claims him as a favorite son.
