Chris Lewis adds a local flavor to this season’s Bombers roster. The Western Michigan Bronco athlete and Forest Hills Central graduate will supply offense from both sides of the plate. He has a history of hitting .300 or better; .300 as a freshman, .390 as a sophomore and .340 this season along with 30 RBIs and 6 home runs. He was first team MAC Conference last year both in baseball and academics. Coach Fleenor said, “Chris is a switch hitter with speed that has done nothing but put up huge numbers in college and will definitely get his shot at pro ball but we hope it will not be until after his senior season at Western Michigan.”
