Mike is a sophomore pitcher, joining the Lunkers from Davidson College in Davidson, N.C. During his freshman season for the Wildcats, he put himself in the record books after notching 32 appearances, good for third most in school history. He continued the trend as a team leader in appearances in 2009 while putting up one of the team¿s best ERAs as well. At Middle Creek (N.C.) High School, he set a school record for ERA and finished second on the school¿s all-time wins list. Last summer, Mike led the Hawaii Collegiate Baseball League in saves (7) and ERA (2.35), earning him a spot on the league¿s All-Star team.
