In 2012 Flor came out of the Jacksonville bullpen 15 times and held opponents to a .245 batting average. Flor made 14 relief appearances as a freshman for the Dolphins in 2011, striking out 15 batters in just over 15 innings of work. Off the field Flor was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic team and was named to the Dean’s List.
Prior to Jacksonville: Flor played baseball at Jefferson High School in Bloomington, MN where he was a three-year starter. As a sophomore Flor helped the Jaguars to the state championship game in which Jefferson fell to Coon Rapids 6-1. Flor was the opening day starter as a senior Jaguar and had a banner day striking out nine Hopkins batters in four innings of work en route to a 6-0 win.
